My Approach to Helping
Life can be chaotic and overwhelming, and sometimes things move so fast there is no chance to reflect. Therapy affords a safe and comfortable space to reflect how life can be made better. In this space, one comes to understand the deeper meanings of the issues at hand, gain the emotional tools to solve these problems, and become more confident in decisions that are made. Therapy can help to slow life down, and helps people find a place in it that fits who they are. My approach as a therapist is very dynamic and interactive though I listen with a solution focused ear. I will offer direct insight and homework when needed and if desired I see myself as a partner in a collaborative relationship with a client working toward personal or professionals goals.
