My Approach to Helping

**Now accepting clients across Washington State for telehealth sessions. Offering early morning, afternoon, and evening session times**

I believe that life's challenges, whether stemming from trauma, stress, or even the daily complexities of life, can often cloud a person's ability to recognize their own potential. Potential to heal, grow, and bring their strengths to the surface. I believe that each individual holds the ability within themselves to create meaningful change and access their best version. Sometimes all we need is someone in our corner; a supporter who gets your quirks, sees your potential, and provides the right tools to help you bring your strengths to the surface.

My approach has several layers, all rooted in compassion and authenticity. First, I provide a space where clients can openly share their concerns and challenges without fear of judgment. Therapy with me is an opportunity to talk through challenges, explore values and identity, process trauma, connect with emotions on a deeper level, and learn how to engage with those emotions effectively. Every session with me is as unique as you are, blending meaningful therapeutic work with moments of connection and a touch of lightheartedness. We’ll talk through challenges, process emotions, explore values, and work on techniques like somatic release or mindfulness to help you feel more grounded and empowered. Along the way, therapy might also include sharing your favorite special interests (yes, tell me all about that passion project), introducing me to your furry family members (who are always welcome to join), or even giving me a virtual house tour to show off something you’re proud of. Therapy isn’t a one-size-fits-all process; it’s about creating a space where you feel fully seen and supported while we work together on growth and healing. I’m here to champion your journey with care, authenticity, and a customized approach that fits you.

Building on emotional awareness, I help clients explore their personal values and make choices that feel authentic and empowered. My approach focuses on experiencing emotions fully and allowing them to exist naturally, without the pressure to control or analyze them. This clarity not only helps clients respond to emotions in healthier ways but also deepens their ability to connect with others. By fostering a better relationship with their emotions, clients often discover new ways to strengthen their relationship with themselves and improve the quality of their interactions with those around them.

I am certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I integrate evidence-based techniques such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness practices, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Attachment Theories, Strength-Based Approaches, and Person-Centered Approaches to help clients navigate challenges and foster personal growth. Additionally, I utilize supportive methods for neurodivergent challenges to address specific obstacles and develop tailored strategies that empower clients to overcome difficulties in a way that works best for them. I am also a co-contributor to Comprehensive Crisis Management, with an understanding of trauma, meltdown, and panic responses.

More Info About My Practice

When it comes to therapy, I believe in meeting people where they are. For me, that means connecting virtually through telehealth sessions. No commutes, no waiting rooms, and no worries about the temperature being too hot or too cold. I also believe in meeting clients where they are emotionally, letting them set the pace while balancing guidance toward their goals with the space needed to heal. Whether you're working through past challenges, navigating present struggles, or planning for the future, I’m here to support you every step of the way.

Each session is personalized, intentional, and designed to meet your unique needs. Therapy with me is about uncovering values, exploring emotions, learning actionable techniques, and finding joy in moments of connection. It is a partnership rooted in authenticity, care, and humor because growth does not have to feel heavy all the time. My goal is to help you move forward in a way that feels empowering and just right for you.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

It isn?t about laying on a couch dissecting your childhood (unless that?s your thing), and it?s not just inspirational quotes. I believe there?s a therapist for everyone, and if I?m not the best fit, I?ll help you gain clarity about the process and guide you toward finding the right support. You?ve already taken the first step by searching online, so what have you got to lose in taking the second? Reach out for a free, low-pressure consultation to feel it out.

Groups I Work With

I work with people from all walks of life, offering compassionate, tailored support to help clients thrive. My specialties include working with adolescents, teens, and adults navigating neurodivergence, such as ADHD, autism, AuDHD, and sensory processing challenges. I also work with individuals exploring whether their anxiety, depression, or other mental health concerns may be tied to neurodivergence. Together, we build tools and strategies designed to fit their unique experiences and needs.

In addition to addressing anxiety, depression, and neurodivergence, I focus on relationship dynamics—romantic, familial, and beyond. I support clients working through attachment issues, codependency, and the unique challenges that can arise in neurodivergent relationships. Whether you’re monogamous, polyamorous, or exploring other relationship structures, you’ll find a judgment-free space where we can navigate these complexities together.

I also specialize in trauma therapy, including PTSD, childhood trauma, adult relational trauma, vocational trauma, and family-of-origin concerns. My goal is to create a safe, trauma-informed environment that is both neuro-affirming and queer affirming, fostering space for healing, self-discovery, and growth
