My Approach to Therapy

My approach is centered in helping people integrate what they have experienced in their lives to better understand their strengths and resilience in making next choices and accepting what has gone before. I believe in a person's natural drive to heal; physically, emotionally, intellectually and spiritually. People experience anger, self-doubt, grief, trauma, depression; it is call from your soul to look within and grow. Emotional turmoil is grist for the mill of our heart asking us to better care for ourselves and to lead a more authentic life. Therapy provides a place and time for honoring that growth. It is a place where your pain and growth is held in safety and with respect.

My Practice & Services

My office is in the Greenlake neighborhood of Seattle. It is in an accessible building. I take Premera, Regence, Group Health, and First Choice Health insurance, and can work out of network on other panels.

Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed

People who choose therapy can know they are not in this alone, flawed or weak. It takes courage to ask for help and to choose to grow, rather than to remain alone and in pain. You are worth it.
