My approach to helping people is really simple. I help through connecting with where you are emotionally starting at our first interaction, and I continue to keep your emotions at the center of how I am going to help you get to the next level. Understanding someone's perspective on the "why and how" is key to being able to help, not judging their "why and how".

More Info About My Practice

My practice is based on providing individual and family services. Services can be tailored to fit any unique situation where conventional interventions may not be the most effective way to address the need. I provide office based or in-home therapy sessions (additional cost for in-home). I also provide groups, Domestic Violence Offender Education, and Anger Management Education programs for adolescents and adults. Feel free to visit my company's website for a detailed description of services.

Important Factors for Choosing a Therapist

I believe that one of the most important factors in choosing a therapist is listening to that "gut feeling". I am speaking of when you are viewing therapist profiles and pictures and that gut feeling says, "Ok. He/she looks like someone I would feel comfortable talking to about my/our issues. This therapist specializes in what I/we need." In any therapeutic relationship, it all starts with making that initial choice of which therapist picture/information makes you comfortable that they may be able to help. I hope that I am that choice.

Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed

Going to therapy is actually a sign of STRENGTH. Even the first step of researching a therapist shows that you are concerned about you or your loved one and that you are STRONG enough to get some assistance. We all have had some not so favorable moments in our past, but therapy is not a time to dwell on our perceived weaknesses. Therapy is your time to create the STRENGTH and ENDURANCE to make it through where you are and develop into a STRONGER individual.
