My Approach to Helping
Caroline Csongos is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of experience providing mental health and substance abuse treatment. She earned her Master’s in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1998 and has held a clinical license since 2001. Caroline worked for the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center for 14 years providing mental health and substance abuse treatment to veterans and their families. She has also served as an adjunct professor at Virginia Commonwealth University, where she taught an advanced clinical practice class to graduate-level social work students.
Caroline worked at Northern Virginia Mental Health Institute, providing treatment to the seriously mentally ill adult population for seven years before working at the VA Medical Center. She has also worked with children and adolescents in an inpatient psychiatric setting. She is compassionate with a strong desire to help people become the best version of themselves.
