My Approach to Helping
My approach to counseling is to foster patient autonomy and encourge growth and resilience. We do not often have control over the circumstances we find ourselves in, but we can adjust our reactions to these experiences. I believe in the strength of the human spirit to overcome difficulties and forge a new path. I strive to encourage others to utilize their strengths in the "re-writing" of their own narrative and to nuture self-worth, self-compassion, and self-acceptance.
