My Approach to Helping

Hi! I work with adolescents and adults on matters that include but are not limited to anxiety, depression, self-esteem, life changes, and relationship concerns. My main goal is to create a relaxed environment that allows my clients to feel comfortable and safe. The therapeutic bond is very important as I strive to create a personable, casual, yet effective environment for change for each unique person and their needs. I aim to be the bridge for my clients as we work through change and growth goals together.

I received my master’s degree from Radford University in Counseling and Human Development with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, where I completed 800+ clinical hours. I am a Board Certified Resident in Counseling at Iron Vines Counseling, LLC under the supervision expertise of Dr. Victoria McLaughlin, PhD, LPC, LSATP, CSAC, ACS, NCC.

If you are struggling and need a calming and non-judgmental space to talk, I hope you will make an appointment with me soon!
