My Approach to Helping

I have a knack and passion for working with teens and adults in crisis. I listen intently to fully understand you and then help you create a plan so that you're armed with the necessary tools and support to navigate whatever you're facing. Establishing a safe space where you can "say the unsayable" while being seen and heard is paramount. I use a no-nonsense, practical approach which is clear and easy to understand.

I believe when we combine a compassionate, judgment-free therapeutic relationship + a little bit of psychoeducation + a dash of accountability + a dollop of support that it equals something extraordinary. It's-an opportunity to release negative energy, a new way of understanding and relating to the world, and a renewed confidence in our own decisions. It amounts to a "sixth sense", a new set of eyes, which enables the client release stress and anxiety , and enables clients to see faulty ways of thinking, abandon old unproductive subconscious patterns and empowers them to create new positive and productive thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and experiences.

I am trained in EMDR and EFT and have seen transformative experiences.

More Info About My Practice

I work with older teen and adult clients dealing with trauma, PTSD or CPTSD, anxiety, depression, infidelity, grief, addiction, emotional or physical abuse, cultural differences, substance abuse, domestic violence, codependence, and "roller coaster relationships". I work with both couples and individuals.

Centrally located in Dallas, between US75 and the Dallas North Tollway, my office is near SMU in Snider Plaza right above the Starbucks.

As of May 10, I will be open for office visits wearing a mask and cleaning the office between sessions. All clients MUST wear a mask. I will still continue telehealth and online video and phone therapy sessions.

Besides regular business hours, I see clients on Sunday afternoons from 12-5 and on Monday evenings until 9PM for your convenience.
