My Approach to Helping
Welcome! Many of my clients have worked with other therapists prior to working with me and have said that they’re relieved to have finally found a therapist who cares about them. I’m ready to care for you, too.
If you are suffering, curious, motivated, scared, nervous, defensive, angry, not feeling anything, guarded, questioning, unsure, ashamed, ready, excited, all of the above or none of the above, I welcome you as you are. You’re not broken and it’s not hopeless. There are reasons you are the way you are and behave the way you do, and we can work to uncover and understand those reasons.
I am an evidence-based therapist who incorporates neuroscience and information about how the brain works to sustain meaningful change. We will approach together what you’ve been too afraid or hesitant or nervous to approach and discover together how you can be the person you’d like to be, heal, change, and grow.
If you have been feeling alone or lonely, you are alone no longer. I am here as a safe, secure base so that you can do your work alongside me. I will see you, accept you, and help you. I’m not scared or judgmental of you or anything that you want to share with me. It would be my honor to meet you and work with you, an honor for you to allow me “in."
