What's My Approach to Therapy?
Hi, I’m Jill Lees, LCSW. I help women who feel weighed down by anxiety, depression, grief, or life transitions find a safe and supportive space to heal and rediscover balance. My approach is both compassionate and collaborative—I believe therapy works best when we honor your story, your strengths, and your goals.
In our work together, I’ll bring a mix of evidence-based practices and holistic tools to meet your unique needs. This may include EMDR to process painful experiences, Internal Family Systems (IFS) to connect with and heal different parts of yourself, and mindfulness to build resilience in the present moment. I also offer Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) and incorporate energy psychology when appropriate.
I view therapy as a journey of empowerment. I’ll walk alongside you, helping you uncover patterns that no longer serve you, explore new ways of relating to yourself and others, and reconnect with your sense of meaning and strength. My goal is not only to help you feel relief but to support you in creating lasting change and a deeper connection with yourself.
I offer in-person sessions in Arvada, Colorado, and online therapy across Texas, Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, and Oregon.
My Practice & Services
At Meer Soul Counseling, I specialize in providing individualized therapy for women navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and life transitions. My practice is grounded in both evidence-based and holistic approaches, including EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness, and energy psychology. I also offer Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) for clients seeking alternative paths to healing.
In addition to individual therapy, I’m passionate about fostering professional community and collaboration. I co-host a monthly networking group for therapists in the Northwest Denver Metro area, creating a space for connection, resource sharing, and ongoing professional support.
My practice is private-pay and designed to give clients flexibility and personalized attention. I offer both in-person sessions in Arvada, Colorado, and online therapy across several states (CO, TX, MT, WY, ID, and OR), making therapy accessible no matter where you are.
My hope is that Meer Soul Counseling is not just a place for healing, but also a supportive community where growth, connection, and empowerment can flourish.
My Role as a Therapist
As your therapist, my role is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel truly seen and understood. I view myself as a guide and collaborator?I?m here to walk alongside you, not in front of you. I?ll help you explore the patterns, beliefs, and experiences that may be holding you back while also highlighting your strengths and resilience.
I use approaches like EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness, and other evidence-based and holistic practices to tailor therapy to your needs. Sometimes that means processing old wounds, other times it means building new skills or deepening self-compassion.
Ultimately, my role is to help you access your inner wisdom, release what no longer serves you, and move toward the life you want with more clarity, balance, and confidence.
Important Factors for Choosing a Therapist
I believe finding the right therapist is about more than credentials?it?s about connection. You should feel safe, understood, and comfortable sharing your story. It?s important to look for someone whose approach resonates with your needs, whether that means trauma-informed care, evidence-based practices, or a holistic perspective.
You might also consider practical factors such as location, availability, and whether the therapist offers in-person or online sessions. But above all, trust your intuition?if you feel a sense of comfort and support in our first conversations, that?s a good sign the relationship may be a strong fit.
My hope is that you feel empowered to choose a therapist who not only brings professional skills but also creates a relationship where you can truly heal and grow.
