My Approach to Helping
I believe in therapy. I know that it works. I also know that it is built on a trusting, nonjudgmental relationship. As a therapist, my first goal is to provide that; to develop a relationship with you that fosters openness and empathy. I realize that our relationship has to be one of mutual trust and respect. As your therapist, I am here to help you discover ways to improve your life by working through the challenges that caused you to seek help. You determine what you want us to work on and together we work through the process of developing the tools you need to change the areas of your life that you see fit.
