Adedamola "Ade" Adefioye is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) who has over 8 years of nursing experience in the psychiatric field. She manages and treats adolescents and adults with various mental health concerns including depression, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, mood disorders, ADHD, Post-traumatic stress disorder, and sleep disorders. Ade completed her Master's degree in nursing at Walden University, where she graduated with honors. Ade possesses strong clinical skills, excellent communication skills, highly empathetic and compassionate. In addition to medication management, she incorporates brief psychotherapeutic interventions, culturally sensitive (CST) and emotionally-focused (EFT) techniques into treatment. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Ade brings empathy, an easy communication style, compassion, and a sweet sense of humor, making it easy for her to talk to patients and family members. She believes in creating an individualized plan of care that values client involvement, evidence-based practice, and interprofessional collaboration.
