Helping you understand yourself psychologically and watching the freedom and joy that knowledge brings is the greatest gift I have ever been given. Everyone feels emotional pain, shame, guilt, sadness and anxiety. Working with couples and individuals to unpack relational and circumstantial situations that cause pain is the basis of my work. I will help you engineer healthy emotional and psychological understandings of yourself in order to eradicate stressors, grief and pain. Our human experiences shape our thought, belief and identity systems and many of those systems were formed under duress which may have resulted in impaired functioning. Healthy reengineering of these systems and identities about yourselves, the world and relationships is the work that is accomplished to enjoy your life more abundantly! I use a Biblical Christian approach to therapy and find tremendous joy in helping you form your spiritual journey. My services include marriage, couples and individual counseling.

More Info About My Practice
I can provide you with an insurance invoice that can be submitted for out of network reimbursement. Most insurance companies will reimburse clients up to 80% of my fee after the deductible is met. Please call your insurance company to see what your "out of network" coverage is for mental health services. I charge $80 per session.
My Role as a Therapist
My clients often come in to my office and say, "I have no idea why I am feeling so sad." or "I am anxious and I don't know why." I often hear clients say, "I thought counselors were only for mentally ill people." Many people have not experienced the benefits of intentionally developing a healthy thought, relational and emotional life. Many of my clients are, for the first time, taking steps to explore & challenge their lifelong belief systems and behaviors in an attempt to gain healthier relational functions, better personal boundaries and a genuine understanding of the authentic self. I help clients to psychologically understand themselves and to correct destructive behaviors, thoughts, beliefs, identities, emotions and coping mechanisms. The work we do is complex, but simple. My clients get better. Understanding ourselves psychologically is one of the greatest, most freeing gifts we can give ourselves. I work with a spectrum of clients from those experiencing mild depression/anxiety to clients experiencing severe trauma and PTSD. There is tremendous healing power in sharing our deepest sorrows with an anchored, unbiased counselor who can help us see and reshape our experiences more accurately.
