Healing the wounds of attachment is a like a journey or path that we walk over the course of our lives. In my practice I have the honor of walking along side you for some period of time to support the natural process of healing. I hope that by facilitating safety and your own curiosity the organic process can unfold. We will bring mindfulness and awareness to how you organize our life. This organization, which was brilliant when we devised them as children to feel loved, may be the same thing that as adults that causes us pain.
Traumatic events sometimes cause disruption in our lives which we feel we have no control over. In the process of healing trauma we will also work with mindfulness and the present moment awareness to give you the resources you need to heal. As we work together to learn more about the trauma symptoms that you struggle with we will hope to see the disruptions improving week to week, decreasing in intensity and how often they show up.
The issues of identity and sexuality are so powerful for many, while for others it maybe relationship or attachment wounds which are most compelling. Working with the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgendered and Queer, GLBTQ, communities in the Tri-Valley area is an emphasis in my practice. I am a long time member of GAYLESTA which works to provides referral for our community in the Bay Area.

Feel free to come early or stay late after our sessions as you need.
In my practice I work with individuals on many issues as you can see. My work is client centered which means that the relationship we form with be different client to client because while our humanity makes us more alike than dissimilar, it also makes each one of our processes of healing different. My work with couples of many different orientations is rewarding. It is in these relationships that our wounding around love will be the most painful, not because there is a problem in our relationship but because it is so important to us.
