My passion is to help you tap into your own inner voice of wisdom. We are most fulfilled and nourished when we live in accord with our own deeply-knowing instinct and intelligence. I bring expertise from the fields of Attachment, Depth Psychology, Mindfulness, Cognitive Therapies, Dream Work and the Expressive Arts to cultivate insight from within.

The path to a wholehearted existence begins with attuning to one's soul-- the heart's deep core-- and living from that irreplaceable wisdom. My work is to facilitate that connection to your soul which is the beginning of everything.

I view my work with clients as a profound and meaningful collaboration. It is a safe and welcoming relationship in which pain can be explored and one's own voice heard. It is also a space for humor, authenticity, and life-giving creativity. In short, psychotherapy mirrors the human journey, and we bring to therapy not only our problems but our deepest strengths and potential.

I would be honored to take the journey with you.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

My most dynamic therapeutic collaborations are with people who are seeking something deeper from life. Perhaps they feel disconnected from their career, or that they are missing out on experiencing the joy of their families. They might be struggling openly, or their lives might look perfect on paper...yet they are encountering a disconnect from their own souls, and it may have been a while since their heart's deep core has had expression. I also find work with people who struggle with health or body image profoundly meaningful. There are many ways in which we can feel at odds with our bodies, and assisting people to loving relationships between body and heart is a gift I delight in sharing.

What I Usually Need to Know to Help

I listen very carefully to clients who embark on therapy with me. I want to know how they view their struggles, what they have tried in the past to reach their goals, and what has worked and not worked. I'm always very interested to understand deeply what a client wants from therapy. I'm curious about their inner strengths and outer resources. I want to know about their soul life, and both what nurtures and drains them. All this unfolds gently through our dialogue and the trust we build. Many people who come in to therapy do not have all these answers worked out, so part of the initial phase of therapy is helping a person to clarify what troubles them and what they hope to gain.
