My Approach to Helping
In my practice I work with individuals, couples and families with a broad range of issues/concerns. Often these issues are related to family change such as infidelity, separation/divorce, parenting concerns, and emotional and behavioral difficulties for children and adolescents that negatively impact their functioning at home and school.

I work with individuals and couples, as well as with children and adolescents from preschool age (approximately 4 years old and up) through the late teen years. I have over 20 years of experience working in a variety of capacities with children and families helping them manage and overcome both outwardly directed behavioral/emotional issues such as oppositional behavior, attention deficits, and problems with anger control; as well as internally directed issues such as anxiety, depression, learning problems, and low motivation/underachievement. I provide both individual and family therapy using solution focused, brief problem solving, cognitive behavioral, and family systems approaches. Member of: * American Counseling Association * Colorado Association of Psychotherapists * American Psychological Association
