My Approach to Helping
My clinical style is supportive and client-focused, incorporating traditional psychodynamic theory, cognitive-behavioral techniques, mind-body practices, and the latest in neuroscience research. Clients generally find me to be kind, gentle, thoughtful, and non-judgmental. I also have a sense of humor, and believe in the healing power of laughter (as well as tears). I take an active role in the counseling process, asking lots of questions to make sure that I understand correctly and giving feedback about what I see and hear. I respect my clients' personal values, religious beliefs, and personality styles, and have worked with people from all walks of life.

More Info About My Practice
My fee for a 50-minute session is $120. I offer fee reductions for students, seniors, the unemployed, and others on a case-by-case basis. I am a provider on some EAP and health insurance panels, and accept debit and credit cards via PayPal.
