My Approach to Helping

I believe that therapy is a great option for individuals or families looking for help with specific issues, or those interested in delving deeper into their own psyche. I use an eclectic approach, drawing from many different theoretical orientations, and I tailor my method of treatment to each individual. It is my goal to make the client as comfortable as possible, so that he or she can feel at ease, and I collaborate with the client to set and achieve desired goals.

I do not accept insurance, but I am flexible with my fees, and work with clients to find a fee that they feel comfortable with. Additionally, I offer a complementary 15 minute telephone consultation.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I specialize in family conflict including transitions between life stages, and adolescent behavioral changes, relationship issues including infidelity, premarital counseling, marriage counseling, divorce, and post-divorce issues. I welcome clients suffering from depression, anxiety, anger management issues, and domestic violence. Additionally, I enjoy working with children and adolescents, along with their parents, as they develop and mature into adulthood. Finally, I am trained to facilitate the scientifically validated PREPARE/ENRICH Assessment. This is an online survey for pre-marital counseling, marriage enrichment, or couples therapy that assesses the couple's strengths and growth areas in order to improve and build upon romantic relationships.
