I believe that effective psychotherapy enables clients to take control of their own feelings and behavior by gently uncovering the connections between past experiences and current difficulties. Positive change occurs in an atmosphere of responsibility and hope, and a respectful, dedicated therapist can effectively guide this process. I integrate straightforward communication and empathy in the context of steady, clear boundaries. I work with children from toddlers through adolescents, as well as individual adults and couples. I provide a wide range of psychological services, including play therapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy, personality testing, and family court and custody related interventions.
