My Approach to Helping

Are you looking for timely and noticeable relief? I can often provide quick symptom reduction within a supportive and safe therapeutic relationship. People engage in psychotherapy for results. Results can come quickly in the right therapeutic environment. My practice focuses from a holistic perspective on Men, Couples, Depression, Anxiety, Anger, Emotional Pain, and other relational issues in a safe, caring and professional manner

More Info About My Practice

Many of the issues clients experience are of an immediate concern. I understand that when people decide to see a therapist they often wish to move through the presenting issues and find resolution quickly. Some clients are looking to work on long term personal development. Both of these long and short term reasons for seeking therapy are valid and often achievable. In my initial session all of the client's needs are discussed and possible interventions and treatment length are also examined to ensure they find the services they need. Long term results may not require long term therapy. Utilizing techniques from a combination of approaches including Solution Focused Brief therapy and other brief approaches often provide results with a relatively short therapeutic commitment. Dave Buettner Marriage and Family Therapist intern # 56525 supervised by Mary Crocker Cook LMFT #24385 A brief solution focused approach is often welcomed when distress levels are high or when available time is limited.
