Terms and Conditions
"Using Your Power to Make the World Safe: From the Inside Out," presented by Judith Barr, MA, LMHC, is unique in that it will present didactic material and offer an opportunity to engage into your own personal psychological and emotional world via personal reflection, the witnessing of others, and the possibility of doing a session with Judith during the teleconference. By registering for this teleconference you signify your assent to the terms and conditions contained in this Agreement. If you do not agree to all of the terms and conditions contained herein, do not register or participate in this workshop.
General
(A) GoodTherapy.org and Judith Barr's teleconference are not intended to be a substitute for professional advice, diagnosis, treatment, medical treatment, psychotherapy, counseling, or mental health services. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding any mental health symptom or medical condition. Never disregard professional psychological or medical advice or delay in seeking it because of something you have read or listened to on GoodTherapy.org.
(B) Should you decide to volunteer to do a live therapy session with Judith Barr during the teleconference, you will arrange to receive, read, understand, and authorize a formal consent to treatment satisfying the informed consent laws of the appropriate state jurisdiction in advance of the event.
(C)You understand and signify your consent to this event being recorded and published in audio format on GoodTherapy.org for members to listen to.
(D) You agree to maintain strict and absolute confidentiality of all information shared by all participants during this event.
Disclaimer of Warranty; Limitation of Liability.
You expressly agree that use of GoodTherapy.org and participation in Judith Barr's teleconference is at your sole risk. Neither GoodTherapy.org its affiliates nor any of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, third party content providers or licensers warrant that this event will be error free; nor do they make any warranty as to the results that may be obtained from participation in Judith Barr's teleconference, or as to the accuracy, reliability or content of any information, service, or merchandise provided through Goodherapy.org and participation in Judith Barr's teleconference.
Indemnification.
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless GoodTherapy.org, its affiliates and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents from and against all claims and expenses, including attorneys' fees, arising out of the participation in Judith Barr's teleconference.
