My Approach to Helping

My goal is to create a safe and non-judgmental space where we can work together to address the challenges you're facing. I believe in a collaborative and strengths-based approach, drawing upon evidence-based interventions to support your growth and well-being. I look forward to the opportunity to support you on your journey toward healing and personal growth.

I became a therapist because I experienced trauma at a young age and struggled for years with undiagnosed ADHD. My goal is to empower individuals to live fulfilling lives and reach their full potential. If you're ready to take the first step towards a more balanced and productive live, I am here to support you!

More Info About My Practice

Whisper is a Licensed Associate Counselor who received her BA in Psychology and Master of Psychology – Clinical Counseling from Capella University. She provides professional, confidential counseling services and is here to help you work through your challenges and find solutions.

Whisper knew at a young age that her passion was helping people empower themselves. Whisper provides a non-judgmental and eclectic style that encourages client collaboration. She has a proven track record of assisting people to achieve positive change through individual counseling, couples counseling, and group therapy.

Whisper has experience facilitating Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) groups. Developing tools to deal with overwhelming situations and building resilience are essential when making desired changes in life. Boundaries are also a cornerstone of DBT, and Whisper enjoys helping others not only figure out their boundaries but how to reinforce them.

Therapy has made many advancements over the past decade, and one of those advancements has been teletherapy. Because Whisper knows it can be challenging to leave the house, find transportation, find a babysitter, or take time off work, she offers teletherapy.
