My Approach to Helping
My philosophy for therapy is a lot like my philosophy for parenting. It is a very individual experience that needs to be respected in an emotionally open environment, and never judged. It is a relationship where both therapist and patient work together to find the parts of you that may be hindered by past trauma, anxiety, or depression, among other things.
We will work to understand your process together, with a look at conscious and unconscious material, along with an exploration of the history of your life. The hope is for a transformative experience in the study of your feelings, challenges, thoughts, creative processes, dreams, and whatever else may come up in the moment.
