My Approach to Helping
I provide continuing and integrated mental and behavioral health care for individuals and families; consultation to agencies and communities; training, education and supervision; and research-based practices. It is a specialty in breadth — one that is broadly inclusive of severe disturbances, as well as more moderate forms of mental health dysfunction. My practice is marked by its comprehensiveness and integration of knowledge and skill from a broad array of disciplines within and outside of psychology proper. Its scope includes adolescents as well as older adults and encompasses diverse populations and varied treatment systems. I ascribe to a bio-psycho-social-spiritual approach. My specialties include mood disorders, relationship issues, and life transitions.
