My Approach to Helping

Life challenges us time and again, but after hardships, we find our strength. I am the empathetic and compassionate person I am today as a result of challenging life experiences that led me on this path and gave me an unfailing passion for helping others feel better and achieve their personal best. My goal is to provide you with genuine connection, attention, and care, using an individually tailored approach that addresses both the mind and body and best supports your own unique needs. Using a variety of interventions, we will dig deep to identify whatever the core conflict might be that is causing emotional distress.

I believe in person-centered care. You know you best and your therapeutic goals will be our guide. We may work on developing stronger interpersonal relationships, reframing negative thought patterns, identifying self-defeating behaviors, or understanding ways to cope with a significant life change or loss. Let's work together to get you "unstuck."

Sustainable healing is possible as you become more self-aware and confident in your own abilities. I’m ready to help jumpstart your journey to a deeper self-understanding, and I look forward to working with you to help you reach your full potential! My Role as a Therapist

Generally, therapy is person-centered, meaning the counselor can gently guide the discussion in order to engage a client, but it's all about meeting the client where they're at and ensuring they get what they need. So, active listening is also key, and the therapeutic alliance is an essential part of treatment. I will make every effort to build trust and rapport, making sure my clients feel safe and heard.
