My Approach to Helping

For nearly three decades, I've provided focused, goal oriented counseling to individual, couples and families. Over the years, I've developed a passion and a personal commitment toward counseling teens, young adult and adult men. I also have expertise, and a specific, positive approach toward helping couples to improve communications, deepen trust and increase intimacy. Additionally, I treat depression, anxiety, parentchild problems, school related concerns, life transitions, personal crises and problems related to alcohol and marijuana use.

Males tend to keep their more sensitive thoughts and feelings to themselves. Having another man to talk with who understands, and offers support and guidance can provide considerable emotional relief, and introduce healthier ways of coping and resolving personal problems. Receiving good help opens the door toward positive changes and greater life satisfaction.

My active, positive and engaging style, and my ability to communicate in an understandable and useful way will enable you to make concrete, measurable and lasting changes. I appreciate being given the opportunity to help.
