My Approach to Helping

Sometimes we need to make healthy changes, but are uncertain of where to start. For the past twelve years I've helped people make the changes they most desire in their personal and professional lives. My experience includes treating adults of all ages, adolescents struggling with big emotions, and families confronting difficult changes. Many of my clients are seeking help when they're overwhelmed by sadness, worry or anxiety, or just want to get rid of unhelpful behavior patterns. Additionally, I work with those who have survived traumatic experiences. I also help clients address issues related to managing intense emotions, developing a reasonable work-life balance, generating better intimacy and healthy sexuality as well as making decisions in accordance with their most deeply held beliefs.

More Info About My Practice

During therapy sessions I offer my clients a safe, welcoming space to practice healthy habits, identify and implement solutions to problems, or discuss difficult or painful topics. When working with teens or families, I'm often conversational during therapy sessions and value any opportunity to "talk things through." Whether I'm offering 1-on-1 support with a client or meeting with a family, I've always believed in 'listening first' and helping people increase the skills they already have to adopt a healthier and more fulfilling lifestyle.
