My Approach to Helping
If you have experienced trauma, then you know the nightmare of isolation, triggers, flashbacks, out of control emotions, and feeling like you are mixed up on the inside. These feelings may leave you feeling almost disabled.
You may have experienced times of danger where you thought you may die… or you may have experienced ongoing abuse in a relationship with someone you thought you should have been able to trust.
Decades ago I dedicated much of my attention to helping people work themselves free from this private hell because I had experienced it myself.
Early in my life, I came to feel that no one should be forced to experience the nightmare of trauma. I understand the pain of feeling crazy on the inside, not being able to trust others, being confused in relationships, always and constantly being on edge… because I have experienced these things myself. Going through my own journey of suffering and then healing has taught me something about people… about you: that you are not ‘crazy’ and that there are perfect reasons for why you feel what you feel and why you sometimes do the things that you do.
