My Approach to Helping
Michael’s counselling style is driven by positive psychology, and a person-centered approach with a strong emphasis on empathy, and compassion (Rogerian approach). In addition to this, he often blends into his sessions Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioural, Emotional, and Solution Focused approaches. Michael also takes a dialectical stance in using "nudges" to help clients move towards constructive behavioural change and adopting helpful habits.
