My Approach to Helping

I have extensive experience in treating complex disorders, bipolar disorder, OCD, psychotic disorders, eating disorders, ADHD, & Autism.

The ideal client is quite simply someone who truly wants help. Someone who is willing to work where the goal is to live the best life, reach the goals one seeks, and to enjoy the journey. The details of how that is done of course depends on the individual's station at the time one seeks help.

I have extensive experience in treating those with complex disorders, especially individuals with bipolar disorder, OCD, and psychotic disorders, as well as eating disorders, gender and sexual issues, autism spectrum disorder, and other developmental disorders, and perhaps my favorite condition to treat, ADHD.

I care deeply about my clients and consider myself part of a team where we collaborate to jointly decide a treatment path.

More Info About My Practice

Harmony Bay also offers TMS therapy. If you have been diagnosed with depression and prefer an effective treatment without medication related side effects, TMS may be for you.

My Role as a Therapist

While some issues are mainly psychosocial (such as anxiety from life transitions) and may not call for medication, others are more biological in nature and, therefore, difficult to treat without medications (such as bipolar disorder and ADHD). Alternatives are always discussed, and in the end, I believe the client is ultimately in charge of their own care.
