My Approach to Helping

Everyone deserves a safe and supportive environment that allows exploration of the true self. My goal as a therapist is to create trusting relationships where health and healing can grow.

I’m passionate about facilitating self-discovery in an environment where children, adolescents, and young adults can build their social skills and strengthen their confidence. I craft positive connections in a fun and active environment through the incorporation of art, games, activities, and conversations. Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked as a teacher, and have a true commitment for helping children grow and learn.

I also have experience working with adults and helping them deal with a variety of challenges, including: anxiety, depression, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, life transitions, stress, relationship struggles, and family trauma.

My work with clients is deeply influenced by my background in direct action programs centered around community engagement, youth empowerment, diversity, and social justice. Everyone deserves to be heard, and no one should feel marginalized regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, or worldview.
