My Approach to Helping

Have you ever been labeled as "too sensitive," "too emotional," or "too needy" by someone in your life? Are there parts of yourself that you believe you have to hide in order to receive love and acceptance? Do you avoid situations because racing thoughts, uneasiness, or persistent worrying overwhelm you? Or, do your emotions become so intense that you shut down or lash out?

If any of this sounds familiar, welcome. You are in the right place.

My hope is that therapy can be a soft landing place for you – a place where you can receive support that is responsive to the needs of your body, mind, spirit, and intersecting identities. I believe each of us has an innate capacity to heal ourselves, and sometimes it takes a steady helping hand to walk alongside us and show us what we already possess.

It is my honor to be that steady hand for you. Life can be different, and you don't have to navigate the path forward on your own. Together we can gently reveal the thriving version of yourself that is already within you. I invite you to call or email me today for a free consultation where I’ll be happy to answer any questions or curiosities you may have.

More Info About My Practice

My approach is grounded in the nurturance of a safe therapeutic relationship where clients feel seen, supported, and understood above all else. I welcome all parts of you – every identity, every emotion, every part that is hidden away. There is room for all of you here. I approach each client relationship with authenticity and collaboration – meaning your own wisdom and perspective will shape the direction of therapy.

Beyond the beautiful work of building trust in the therapeutic relationship, I use various methods that touch into the body’s intelligence, mindfulness, and the power of the present moment. As we dive into the concerns that brought you into therapy, I will help guide you toward greater awareness of what is happening on the level of sensation, thought, and emotion. We will strengthen the connection between body, mind, and spirit – with the end goal of building your capacity for safety, peace, and aliveness.
