My Approach to Helping

What would people think if they knew how scared and insecure you feel all the time? No one knows, because for as long as you can remember you’ve been an expert at appearing more confident than you actually are. You can read others so well that you usually know exactly what they need and exactly what to say to keep the conversation moving seamlessly. The only problem is, most of your relationships end up feeling one-sided and dissatisfying--you know them really well, but do they really know you? You’re tired of faking it, you’re tired of feeling so lonely, and you're tired of worrying about what everyone else will think of you.

How nice would it be to not feel low-level anxiety in the background all the time?... To feel truly self-confident?... To set healthy boundaries with your parents, your partner, your boss, your friends?... To know--to REALLY know--that the authentic you that you’ve been hiding all this time is amazing and worthy of love?

I can help you uncover and heal the wounds that have led you to feel so scared of taking up space. You will become an expert on how to set boundaries, access your center, and assert your truest self. My approach is holistic and I incorporate many “non-traditional” methods including mindfulness and inner child work. Book a free consultation today!

More Info About My Practice

Along with being a therapist, I'm a Professional Astrologer and tarot reader. I lost my daughter to childhood cancer in 2014, and so understand firsthand the unique grief following the death of a child.

Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed

It's time to do away with outdated, limiting stigmas attached to seeking out therapy! I work best with clients who view therapy as an ongoing form of self-care and an investment in their future self. Part of being human is having feelings, and we all needing a safe, nonjudgmental space to process those feelings, as well as explore who we really are, and what we really want and need. My practice is based on the following guiding principles:
- The key to your health and healing lies within you.
- Healing happens in relationship.
- We are each on our own unique soul path.
- There is a brilliant sanity in all "dysfunction."
- Healing happens in the here-and-now.
- Social justice issues are therapeutic issues.
