My Approach to Helping

You have a difficult time saying "no" and avoid confrontation like the plague. You feel things deeply, which makes you highly empathic and capable of deep compassion, but you're still really hard on yourself. You’re an overthinker, and it’s difficult for you to recover from any perceived failure or criticism. You want close relationships, but hide parts of yourself and still hold most people at arm’s length. You want to share the real you, but you have a difficult time being authentic because you’re so used to just being who other people want you to be. You're not sure why, but you seem to be a magnet for unhealthy relationships.

More than anything, you want to feel confident and centered in your truth. You want to understand yourself more deeply and connect with others from a place of genuine authenticity. You want to stop getting into unfulfilling relationships where you don't feel seen or appreciated. You want to share your unique gifts with the world and finally stop feeling so scared.

I can help you heal the wounds that have led you to feel scared of taking up space. You'll become an expert on how to set boundaries, access your center, and assert your truest self. My specialties are anxiety, self-esteem, codependency, and childhood trauma. Book a free consultation through my website to get started!

All therapy sessions are conducted online via a HIPPA compliant video platform.

My View on the Nature of 'Disorders'

I think that often "mental health disorders" are actually normal responses to abnormal circumstances. Most of us never learned how to cope in healthy ways with intense emotions, in fact, most of us were taught to fear strong emotions and think we are "crazy" when we feel them! But strong emotions are an inescapable fact of life; strong emotions are normal. My goal is to help you learn how to stay present with yourself during difficult moments. I want you to heal your relationship with yourself so that you can live your life authentically, with little concern for what others may think of that. I want to help you remember what is and isn't yours to carry, and to reclaim your stories and your wholeness.
