My Approach to Helping
One of the bravest things that you can do, is to advocate for yourself. This can also be one of the most challenging things. If you find yourself feeling stuck or in need of support, therapy may be the boost that you need! In my sessions, I aim to create a space that is both comforting and collaborative to facilitate support, validation, and grace. As a client, you are the expert in your life, and with some guidance and support, you are able to achieve the goals that you set out for yourself.
My passions include helping folks aged 12+ overcome anxiety, depression, trauma and/or self-esteem concerns in many areas of life. These include issues in schoolwork, difficulties with a partner, including trauma-informed care for adult victims of sexual or domestic violence, support for caregivers experiencing burnout or compassion fatigue and many others.
Reaching out for help can be a challenging step, but I hope you take a moment to be proud of yourself for doing so. I look forward to hearing from you and being able to help!
