My Approach to Therapy

These services are offered online or virtually. A confidential report with personalized treatment recommendations, work and school accommodations, and any associated letters (ESA, WPATH) are given directly to you within 1 week of our meeting. We discuss what you feel comfortable disclosing to other providers and insurance companies, if applicable. If you are exploring clarity around neurodivergent strengths and support options or want an evaluation process that aligns with your values, please reach out via email. I’m also happy to coordinate with therapists when helpful. Post-evaluation processing sessions are available if interested. BIPOC and 2SLGBTQ+ people are welcome, valued, and centered.

My Practice & Services

I'm a queer, neurodivergent clinical psychologist with a PhD in clinical psychology. I hold two master's degrees in clinical adult and child psychology. All of my services are neuroaffirmative. BIPOC and 2SLGBTQIA+ clients are welcome, valued, and respected. All services at this time are offered virtually.

My View on the Nature of 'Disorders'

I view psychological diagnoses as tools for understanding rather than labels that define a person. A diagnosis can connect clients with scientific information about their experiences, clarify which supports are most likely to be helpful, and provide access to accommodations or disability-related services. For some people, diagnosis also offers language for self-understanding and a pathway to community, shared learning, and greater enjoyment of life. As a clinical psychologist, I help bridge clinical research, therapeutic support, and the lived knowledge found within neurodivergent communities. My practice is neuroaffirming, individualized, and centered on the needs of neurodivergent adults, particularly queer and BIPOC clients. I adapt DBT skills to each person’s sensory, energetic, emotional, and executive functioning needs rather than expecting the person to conform to a standardized approach. I recognize that neurodivergence may involve meaningful strengths as well as significant disability, and that dysregulation is a human experience rather than a personal failure. I remain attentive to current research and to the clinical documentation sometimes required for medical, governmental, or disability-related purposes, while always viewing each client as a whole human being whose identity extends far beyond any diagnosis.

Groups I Work With

I provide virtual comprehensive psychological evaluations for adults. This includes assessment for ADHD, autism, and a full range of DSM-5-TR conditions. My approach centers your lived experiences rather than deficit-based checklists. This evaluation process is collaborative, respectful, and grounded within the context of identity, culture, and systems that impact mental health. I offer individual therapy services to adults with neurodivergence. We collaborate to develop an individualized Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) treatment plan that fits your needs, goals, and values. This therapy is meant to help people who suffer from things like rejection sensitive dysphoria, sensory sensitivities, social anxiety, rumination or persistent worry, and mood or emotion dysregulation. BIPOC and 2SLGBTQIA+ clients are welcome and encouraged to reach out. I offer sliding scale discounts and payment plans to anyone experiencing financial hardship. Please reach out to me via email for fastest response.
