My Approach to Helping
Helping my clients create peaceful, harmonious lives is my passion. I provide an environment that is empathetic, attentive, and nonjudgmental. I can help you develop better emotion regulation, create flexible routines that work, improve your relationships, get organized, and heal from emotional wounds. I'm specialized in evidence-based therapy provision for trauma and ADHD. My favorite approaches due to their wonderful results are cognitive processing therapy (CPT), prolonged exposure therapy (PET), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). I also use dialectical behavior therapy techniques for mood related problems. Feel free to learn more about me at my website.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With
For my clients experiencing traumatic stress, I want you to know that PTSD does not have to last forever. It is a curable disorder. We will go along at your pace using either Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) or Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PET)--the two most effective therapies for overcoming PTSD. We will discuss the differences between the two approaches during our initial session. I have had the pleasure of working with older veterans who suffered for decades from PTSD and within a few months no longer had symptoms. There is great reason to hope that your efforts in therapy will give you the relief you desire and deserve.
For my clients with ADHD, we are birds of a feather! I have ADHD and use it to my advantage. Hyperfixation is a superpower when direct towards your goals. Our non-linear thinking lends to creativity, novel solutions, and enhanced empathy. I can help you maximize these positive traits while helping you to get organized and build positive coping skills.
