My Approach to Helping
Each of us is on our own individual journey. At times, we all need assistance to help us overcome the stumbling blocks that are in our path. These stumbling blocks may be from the distant past, recent past, present, or fear of the future and may be affecting us at school, work, home, in relationships, or all the above.
My goal as a therapist is to meet clients where they are on their journey, build a collaborative relationship with these clients, and provide a safe, accepting, supportive environment to examine whatever stumbling blocks may be present. In doing so we begin to begin to unfold these stumbling blocks and take away the power they are having in our lives.
I utilize evidence-based interventions from a cognitive behavioral therapeutic approach and offer a client-centered, empathic, and mindful setting for all of my clients in order to promote the best outcomes for therapy.
