My Approach to Helping

. Thank you for taking the first step toward healing. Life brings many challenges and triumphs, but we do not have to go through it alone. As your counselor, I will work with you to help you identify the negative patterns and behaviors that may be impacting your life, and together we can help you achieve the changes andor the healing you desire. The journey may be difficult, and sometimes, even a little uncomfortable but I am here to collaborate with you and support you through the entire process.

I was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV but currently reside in California. I have a BA in Psychology from the University of Nevada Las Vegas and a dual MS degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling from Walden University. I am a registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor and I have experience working with couples, families, children, and individuals. I am also a Registered Behavioral Therapist and have experience working with children who have developmental delays, autism, Down syndrome, and other disabilities. When I am not working in the mental and behavioral health field, I am working out and practicing self-care, volunteering in my community, and spending time with my loved ones. I have a loving husband, a beautiful daughter, and a cute cockapoo dog named Kiko and they all keep me busy.

More Info About My Practice

I believe that even when things become difficult, we can overcome anything as long as we are willing to put in the effort to work through it. My goal is to provide a safe and supportive space that will allow you the opportunity to dig deep and express yourself without judgment. I am passionate about mental health and helping others and I have made it my personal mission in life to break the stigma surrounding therapy and mental health. Because your mental and emotional health are just as important as your physical health and you are not alone.
