My Approach to Helping
Sometimes life and events can leave us overwhelmed, stressed and stuck. I work to act as a resource to help you determine what needs to heal or change and makes wholesome sense for you. I believe all of us have the capability of developing our inner strengths, of having meaningful relationships and creating the life we want, I have a holistic understanding of the brain, mind, body, emotions, spirit and relationships and how their functioning make up our sense of wellbeing. It is not my role to judge you and I am truly interested in seeing you succeed in therapy with me. In my work with couples, my approach is similar with the focus on enhancing the ways partners can be and are there for each other, along with identifying and reducing the ways couples get off track and caught in negative cycles. My work is evidence-based and supported by current research. I am dedicated to maintaining professional excellence and I enjoy continuing to learn and add to my training. I consistently exceed the amount of education hours required for me to maintain my license.
