My Approach to Helping

Today, at this moment, you are one step closer to living a life that you want to be living. Taking the initial steps toward finding a therapist, and making the appointment, is both scary and exciting! I would be honored to take the journey towards healing with you. Working from an eclectic approach, I help people who are experiencing all sorts of challenges in their lives. My specialties are: Post-traumatic stress and the secondary effects, traumatic grief & loss, life transitions, depression, anxiety and relationship/communication issues and stagnation. My approach is an honest and warm, yet straight-forward one, were the goal is to foster a relationship of mutual trust and respect where clients feel safe and open.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

Confucius said "Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life." This is so true for me! This work has afforded me the honor and privilege to meet and help so many interesting and wonderful people. Over the years I have seen so many people transform themselves and their lives through self-discovery. To be part of that transformation and truly priceless. The work we will do in therapy will not be easy. We will cry, we will laugh and there will be discomfort, but through the discomfort will come growth and change.
