My Approach to Helping

I lived and worked in several countries which allowed me to develop an awareness of human diversity and respect for one’s identity and beliefs.

As a fully qualified integrative counsellor, flexibility is important in the way I work with my clients. You might need a safe space to explore difficult emotions or past experiences, you might be overwhelmed by past or present events, you might be confused about who you are or what you want in life, you might be going through a mid-life crisistransition. Whatever brings you to therapy at this time in your life, my role is to offer you a non-judgmental space where you feel safe to confront and address whatever is troubling you. As an integrative therapist, I have several tools that I can use to assist you but ultimately the work will be led by you and what you need. We will try to understand your struggles, their meanings to you and how they impact your life and relationships.

Choosing a counsellor can be daunting but might be the first and most important part of your therapeutic journey. For this reason, I invite prospective clients to contact me for an initial free session to explore what brings them to therapy, what they are hoping to achieve and most importantly if we might work together as I believe that building a trusting, collaborative relationship with my clients is key to their therapeutic growth.
