What's My Approach to Therapy?
I’m a humanistic psychotherapist and life and executive coach. I work with adults (18+) and couples. This might be a time when you’re going through life’s ups and downs, or personal challenges. You could be feeling that something is stuck or missing, or that things could be better. Or maybe you want to explore and reflect on experiences, or aspects of your life. I understand those experiences deeply, and I can relate to the feelings of being stuck, or in search of something more fulfilling. Therapy provides that unique space, focusing entirely on you, your growth, your well-being, and your journey.
The therapeutic approach I practice is rooted in humanistic psychology, which, in a nutshell, means that I value and respect your unique circumstances, and that I am ready to be real and connect with you, human to human. I offer a holistic approach that considers the connection between mind and body, and I will encourage you to learn about yourself and make your own decisions.
Couples therapy is dedicated to helping partners untangle ineffective patterns and dynamics that may be hindering their relationship. Through exploration of what is working, and what isn't, we will focus on your common or agreed goals, fostering a healthier, and more fulfilling connection.

My View on the Purpose of Psychotherapy
Therapy is for me a space where I can reflect and explore, where I can learn about myself through relating to another person, where I can express and feel. A space where a cry is always "a good cry", where I leave feeling a little better, where I realise how much I've changed! And where I can say "it's happened again" and I know that the person in front of me is embracing me with words of acceptance. Therapy is a space where I feel the fullness of my experience, in all dimensions, and it's ok.
How My Own Struggles Made Me a Better Therapist
My cultural background is Spanish. I worked internationally as a software engineer for more than a decade before I found the courage to embark on my own self-development journey, becoming a coach and then a psychotherapist. I have studied, worked, and lived in the Nordics before settling in the UK. I welcome all cultural backgrounds into my therapeutic space. I understand the pressures of the corporate world and of moving to a different country.
I echo and feel our human experiences, and know first hand that by looking at them, reflecting on them in the right space, growth happens.
