My Approach to Helping
Are you experiencing sadness, irritability, or uncontrollable worry? Are you seeing changes in your sleep, your diet, or your relationships? Do you feel like your life is out of control lately? You are not alone. In my years practicing as a counselor, I have worked with many of my clients experiencing these symptoms. Depression, anxiety, anger, or lack of motivation are common signs of experiencing emotional distress. Your thoughts and feelings can be confusing as you might experience mood swings. I am grateful that you’re willing to give therapy a try and it would be an honor to work with you.
Creating a safe space is crucial to making sense of our experiences that we would not otherwise have a chance to explore. Only then we are able to process our emotions, perception, and using our narratives to create new possibilities for thinking, feeling, and doing life in a fresh way. I work hard to create a therapeutic space where my clients feel safe.
