My Approach to Helping
I have a warm yet direct style. I help my clients notice their triggers and patterns. By bringing to negative thoughts and unhelpful behaviors to awareness, clients are able to start making the necessary changes to get unstuck and on the path to a more intentional life.

Having established a strong therapeutic relationship, we will start challenging some of your negative beliefs or behavioral patterns. My style is refreshingly genuine and authentic, direct yet warm. You will have a better understanding of the problem, develop insight, and learn skills to deal with what life has brought you.
Together we will identify the necessary changes for what is in your control, or help you learn to cope with the demands of life that are outside of your control. Even though you may feel overwhelmed or helpless, life is not hopeless when we stop avoiding the problems and decide to face them heads-on. Even though we cannot change the past, we can change our relationship to it, reframe the ways your view problems, re-script your life narrative, and find more adaptive ways to handle what life will bring you in the future.
