My Approach to Helping
The foundation of my approach to therapy is built on the deeply held belief that we already have the innate capacity to heal. Sometimes all we need is to sit across from someone who can cultivate a safe, compassionate space to reconnect with our most authentic and wholehearted self.
I recognize the courage it takes for you to be here. In my own healing journey, I have found a combination of self-compassion, mindfulness, and exploration of limiting beliefs and behaviors to be the most helpful in reconnecting with a sense of wholeness and authenticity. I use warmth, compassion, and gentle directness in my approach with others. I take an integrative and collaborative approach to therapy, which means we will decide together the goals and direction you wish to take.
I am passionate about helping clients reengage in their lives from a place of authenticity and strength. Together, we will cultivate a greater capacity to practice self-compassion, courage, and acceptance. My hope is to support you in cultivating more meaningful connection, reconnecting with a sense of meaning and purpose, and living braver with your life.
