My Approach to Helping
Christine Sefein, MA, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in Grief & Loss and Trauma work. She has worked for many years with individuals, couples, families and groups providing grief and trauma therapy in residential settings, intensive outpatient clinics, community health centers, and in private practice. Christine has held positions such as Clinical Director, Clinical Supervisor and Therapist, working with diverse populations and age groups dealing with issues such as grief & loss, trauma, depression, anxiety, PTSD, terminalchronic illness, addiction & recovery, life transitions, career changes, relationship issues, divorce, and parenting.
Christine takes a client-centered eclectic approach in her treatment modalities using a range of techniques from Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectic Behavior Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Attachment-Informed Grief Therapy supporting clients along their journeys and paths to hope, healing, and self-discovery.
