My Approach to Helping
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I provide psychotherapy to individuals coping with both chronic mental health struggles and difficult life transitionsstressors. I am experienced in providing treatment and support to people of all ages managing depression, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, trauma symptoms, grief and loss, adjustment stressors, parenting issues and relationship and attachment issues. I value the opportunity to support my clients in gaining a deeper understanding of themselves through process-oriented work in order to grow their ability to practice self-acceptance and self-compassion in place of self-judgment.
My therapy style is flexible and I strive to tailor my treatment approach to each client’s personality and identified needs.. My therapeutic technique is rooted in a combination of CBT, DBT, psychodynamic theory, attachment theory, and mindfulness practice. Ultimately, I am here to provide a safe space to help you move through your recovery journey.
Life can be beautiful and fulfilling. It can also be incredibly stressful and difficult. Whatever your experience has been or currently is, it is valid and you deserve a safe space to share, feel heard and heal. I am here to help you find compassion for your present self while also supporting you in creating the positive change that you want in life.
