My Approach to Helping
~Accepting New Clients~ My name is Amy Yaeger. I'm a mental health therapist licensed in Hawaii and California, and I provide teletherapy services to residents of both states. I've been told my level-headed, calm nature, and friendly vibe set me apart. I'm here to help you move through these challenging times and it is my goal to provide you with a few moments in your busy life when you feel heard, seen, and supported with compassion, patience, hope and evidence-based interventions. I don't accept insurance but I will provide a superbill which you can submit to your insurance for out-of-network reimbursement.
My toolkit consists of interventions including but not limited to CBT, DBT, Trauma Focused-CBT and EMDR, Narrative Therapy, Harm Reduction, Compassion-Based, Solution-Focused, Task-Centered, and Mindfulness-Based interventions.
I have experience helping individuals with a variety of symptoms and challenges, from various ethnic, cultural, non-traditional backgrounds and individuals in the LGBTQ+ community.
