My Approach to Therapy

Therapy that’s intuitive, soulful & real. Couples expert & adult wellness specialist based in Colorado & Hawaii, with telehealth across 35+ PsyPACT states. A safe haven for Jewish clients & allies and anyone feeling “othered,” unseen, or overwhelmed. I’m a licensed clinical psychologist with 20+ years of experience helping individuals and couples move through pain and into the next best version of their lives with clarity, confidence, and connection. My practice, Live & Love Well Colorado Hawaii, is rooted in cultural inclusivity, relational safety, and evidence-based care. I offer a welcoming, vocal space for clients navigating identity, grief, trauma, or chronic pain. I celebrate your uniqueness and help you reclaim your wholeness. You are not broken. You’re exhausted from carrying too much, for too long. Therapy isn’t just about coping - it’s about healing and coming back to who you really are. Clients describe my style as honest, warm, and deeply compassionate. I blend evidence-based tools with intuitive insight, humor, and heart. Sessions are practical, soulful, expansive, and grounded in genuine care. I earned my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PsyD) from the University of Denver Graduate School of Professional Psychology, and hold a Bachelor's in Business Administration and Spanish Minor from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School. My dual background in psychology and business informs my work with professionals, leaders, and entrepreneurs managing burnout, identity shifts, or transitions. I bring both psychological depth and strategic support to help high-performing individuals build sustainable success. My clinical foundation includes Solution-Focused Couples Therapy, ACT, and Psychodynamic approaches. I work eclectically, tailoring treatment to your needs, personality, and goals. Areas of Focus: • Couples Therapy (communication, intimacy, parenting, infidelity) • Chronic Pain & Illness (resilience, identity shifts, mind-body work) • Anxiety, Depression & Postpartum Mental Health • Grief, Divorce & Life Transitions • Sexual Wellness & Identity Discovery • Parenting & Partnership Coaching • Executive & Career Coaching Outside the therapy room, I’m a mom of two teenagers, a former mogul skier, and a passionate advocate for inclusive care. I am also the on-call, volunteer therapist at Brent’s Place in Denver, CO, and Tūtū and Me Home Visiting Program in Hawaii. Let’s connect.

Had a Negative Therapy Experience?

The therapeutic relationship is built on trust, authenticity, and a genuine connection. With over 20 years of clinical experience, I have had the privilege of working with many individuals and couples who have experienced negative or even harmful therapy relationships. If you have faced this, I truly commend you for considering therapy again - your courage is a vital step in healing. I believe that therapy is sacred workspace where profound healing and transformation can occur. I understand how deeply damaging a negative therapeutic experience can be, affecting your sense of self, safety, and trust in others. This type of healing is deeply personal, and I am committed to offering a space where you can rebuild that trust and rediscover your sense of safety. In my practice, I treat each client with the utmost care, respect, and compassion. Your well-being is my top priority, and I hold your heart with the same level of importance and sacred care that I would my most treasured personal relationships. Together, we can heal past wounds, nurture trust, and create a therapeutic experience that supports your emotional safety and growth.
