As a woman who has dedicated my life's career to working with individuals who suffer with mental health and substance use issues, I have the experience, training, and compassion needed to offer support, hope and solutions.
Alice Gilsinan is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) with over 30 years of professional experience working in the mental health and substance use field. Alice enjoys working with adolescents, adults, couples and families helping them address their unique challenges, identify solutions and live happier, more fulfilling lives. Alice specializes in treating depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, relationship issues, addictions and life transitions.
Alice completed her Master's degree in Social Work at Virginia Commonwealth University. She adapts her treatment approach to each individual and their unique situation. Alice commonly uses the following evidence-based therapies including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing (MI), mindfulness, solution-focused (SFT) and person-centered therapy (PCT).
