My Approach to Helping
Your spirituality and religion are important to you. Do you remember a time feeling connected to something or God but wonder where the connection went? Those feelings of connection, love, and peace are like a distant memory and you feel anxiety most days with a spice of depression on occasion. Are you, or where you, a devoted member to your faith, or a cause, but struggle participating in activities because you feel overwhelmed? I know exactly what you are feeling: anxious, invisible, unimportant, frustrated, and misunderstood. I know what it is like to feel anxious and disappointed under your circumstances. Those feelings of disappointment of being let down by those you associate with in these circles is disheartening. Also, loving God and being disappointed or angry with him is not only confusing but hurts to the core with a taste of anxiety every day. Letting go of this deep rooted anxiety and frustration is not as simple as “just letting it go”. I get what’s happening and I can help.
More Info About My Practice
Having traveled this path for myself I know there is hope. In your journey I want to help you find your authentic self by helping you let go of your deep anxiety and related pain. Your anxiety holds many thoughts leaving you to question things like, “did they stop by for a visit because they care or is this just a duty they carried out?” Another, “I feel like people don’t really notice when I show up. They won’t notice if I am gone today”. There are so many different things our anxiety lies to us about. Exploration of you, your past, and staying present from day to day can help you gain power over your anxiety. My goal is for you to understand in your mind and heart these thoughts and others are not true but a lie from your intense feelings. Lies like, “My creator does not care for me.” Can hold us down and stop us from moving forward.

My goal for you is to understand the lies, intense feelings, and resolve the past within you for healing. Additionally, understanding and self compassion. We will take a close look at your current needs to help you cope with life stresses. When you feel stable in current day life we will find the pain speaking to you from the past so you can heal to reduce your anxiety. I have created a welcoming non judgmental environment for you to breath and find room to grow. I will not force you to talk about something you do not want to talk about. However, I may challenge you at times when the chance for healing and progress presents itself. If needed, I can be a copilot to help you find where you need to be. I strive to meet your mind, body and spirit where they are at.
